The Story of Moodulo: When the Obsession with Perfection Redefines Freedom on the Water
Share
Originally, our approach was simple: we wanted to enjoy the water without the usual complications. Passionate about the world of rental chalets, I was looking for a solution for my sites that would be both an elegant dock and a maneuverable boat.
Very quickly, it became clear: the options on the market are either heavy, fixed docks, or massive pontoons requiring a trailer and a launching ramp. Nothing offered the flexibility to switch between the two without management stress.
"I wanted a concept that I could transport alone in my pickup, assemble on my dock in a few minutes, expand at will, and that would serve as both a floating deck and a motorized boat. Since it didn't exist, I invented it."
From obsession to cutting-edge engineering
This quest became a real obsession. I spent over a year testing, failing, and starting over to optimize every inch of the concept. My goal: to eliminate constant maintenance and dependence on heavy equipment.
It was only when I was perfectly satisfied with its robustness that I brought together the best talents — an engineer, an industrial designer, and a marine electricity specialist. Together, we created a modular system without equal.
Our mission: to offer the best product, at the best price, to transform your access to water.
An "IKEA" system: From fixed dock to mobile pontoon
We have applied the principle of universal simplicity to boating, while ensuring industrial durability:
- Ultra-transportable: Everything is designed so that a single person can transport the modules in a pickup truck bed or a standard trailer. No box exceeds 40 lb.
- Total versatility: Your Moodulo can serve as a fixed dock, a floating dock, or transform into a motorized pontoon in the blink of an eye.
- Scalable: You can start with a small basic platform (the Misti model) at an introductory price of $4,000 and expand it to the Mistassini (10 seats) over the seasons.
- Zero compromise: Structure compliant with Transport Canada standards, materials resistant to the Quebec climate (can remain in the water in winter) and autonomy options (Bluetooth, lights, lithium battery).
More than a platform, a new standard
Moodulo is not just a product; it's the end of logistical barriers. Whether you need a dock for your chalet or a pontoon to explore hidden coves, we have designed the solution so that "Mr. and Mrs. Everyone" can finally own the lake.
Our mission
Redefining the on-water experience with elegant and autonomous modular spaces. With options like the Bluetooth system, lithium power, and a structure compliant with Transport Canada, we don't just sell a dock: we offer the freedom to feel at home, anywhere on the lake.
Moodulo was born from a real need, for "Mr. and Mrs. Everyone," so that access to water is no longer a logistical luxury, but pure pleasure.
Meaningful names
Each Moodulo model bears a carefully chosen name: words that evoke water, calm, strength, or movement. These names reflect our philosophy: to create more than a product, to create a universe.
