How did our modular dock and pontoon company come about?

Our initial approach was quite simple: to find an affordable, durable, and easy-to-use dock. Like many outdoor enthusiasts, we wanted a practical floating space to enjoy the lake without having to invest exorbitant sums or deal with a product that was difficult to transport.

The limitations of the options available on the market

We quickly realized that the options already offered did not meet our needs.

• Transport was complicated : most of the docks required four people to move, with no economical solution for delivery.
• Lack of flexibility : it was impossible to easily bring them to the lake, which severely limited their use.
• Disappointing aesthetics and layout : even on the pontoon side, the available models did not offer the desired quality of finish or layout.

We were therefore faced with an unsatisfactory choice: either accept a heavy and impractical product, or invest in an expensive pontoon that did not really meet our expectations.

From necessity to innovation

It was at that moment that an idea took root: what if we built the ideal dock ourselves?
With the help of an engineer, we began designing our own prototypes. Several iterations were necessary to obtain a product that was:

• robust and durable,
• easy to assemble and disassemble,
• easy to carry,
• aesthetically pleasing and adaptable to different projects.

When the environment becomes the trigger

As the trials progressed, one thing became clear: we weren't alone in searching for this type of solution. Friends and family members, seeing our prototypes, encouraged us to go further: "You should really market this!"

This enthusiasm was the real catalyst. What began as a personal solution became a mission: to make modular docks and pontoons accessible to all, economical, and adapted to the realities of our lakes and our northern climate.
